Beginning of Round One ...
(Drakor, Bargundir, Iris)
- OOC: Anyone inside the darkness suffers a -2 penalty on all attack rolls and defense rolls. Anyone not in the darkness who attacks into the darkness suffers the same penalty on attack rolls. Furthermore, you can only attack someone you cannot see if you have some way of discerning (or guessing) their location ... though attacking their last visible location is viable for now.
Unseen by anyone, Drakor sneaks up behind the mounted caster and murders him.
- OOC: Caster down.
- OOC: Let me know when Iris is ready to act.
Bargundir
Suddenly, the warg charges into the fray, moving at preternatural speeds and disappearing into the darkness. Drakor watches as the enormous predator tears into one of the horses, dragging it to the ground. The other horses panic and start to rear; the riders do their best to stay saddled, but half of them are thrown to the ground. Only Drakor sees it, but everyone hears it.
- OOC: Riding rolls: 2, 4, 1, 1, 9, 8, and 10. Four of them fall.
Crossbowmen
The wounded crossbowman fires at bolt at Merrill.
- OOC: I need a defense roll from Merrill (TN 7). If it hits, it deals 7 points of damage (14 if you critically fail).
The other crossbowman is on the ground surrounded by darkness. He staggers to his feet and runs, quickly exiting the darkness.
Finding himself in the light once again, he fires a shot at the half-giant, Thane.
- OOC: First action to stand-up and run 3 yards. Second action to fire.
- OOC: I need a defense roll from Thane (TN 7). If it hits, it deals 7 points of damage (14 if you critically fail).
- OOC: Taryk, Merrill, and Jasmine are up next. Go ahead and post your actions. (If you still want Jasmine to do what you already posted, let me know; you can keep that roll if you want).

Merrill hisses in Frustration at the crossbowman who's emerged from the dark and turns to fire twice more on him.

(The Leader and the Five Manhunters)
The leader emerges from darkness, with his twin swords already drawn. The remaining five riders also emerge, with their weapons in hand. The leader flashes a hand signal at the other five, who respond by using their weapons: the one with the net throws it at Thane, the one with the Bolas throws them at Taryk, and the one with the whip cracks it toward Merrill.
- OOC: I need Defense rolls from all three of you: TN 7 for Thane and Taryk, TN 9 for Merrill. None of these attacks will cause damage.

OOC: Gemma, Miriam, Brody, and Thane are up now. (The enemy caster died, so he is removed from the count).
