Taryk turns and places 6 coins into Jasmines hand and gives her an honest look, indicating his understanding of the need for cooperation. He then turns back to the tunnel, more wary of his surroundings, as he leads the party on.

As Taryk approaches the bend, he sees a dim light emanating from nearby; perhaps another chamber? Although he no longer hears the voices, he is fairly sure they came from just ahead. Trying to remain quiet and in the shadows, he peers around the bend for a better look: another chamber with a rough timbered floor, this one occupied by four burly goblins. One of the goblins taps his mate on the shoulder and points directly at Taryk! The other three turn to face the intruders, as well.
- OOC: Initiative rolls, please. The Goblins have a 5, again. If you roll higher than a 5, go ahead and post your actions, as well.
- OOC: Taryk is only 2 yards from the closest Goblin and 4 yards from the furthest. If we assume that each of you is one yard behind the person in front of them, that puts Jasmine 3 yards from the closest Goblin, Drakor 4 yards from the closest Goblin, etc.

Taryk curses his foul luck and leaps from cover, allowing the others space to enter. He immediately targets the goblin who first spotted him and releases a charge of electricity.

--OOC: if there is enough room and Drakor can reach the goblins and attack he will do so. If not he will ready his attack for the first enemy to come through the doorway we initially heard voices coming from. choose the appropriate response below.
If I can attack:
"Someone keep a watchful eye on the room that was in front of us."
a Dark mist swoops around Taryk, Drakor sinks one dagger into the goblin while tearing open his flesh with the other dagger
Attack Roll: 5 and 6 (if successful 3 dmg and 2 dmg = 5 dmg)
If I can NOT attack:
"I will cover our backs from this opening."
Drakor will move up to the door opening, hiding in the shadows and ready himself for a surprise attack on the first enemy that comes to the doorway.

OOC: You can attack, if you move forward, but then there are more than two actions listed there. Moving forward would be an action; expanding your darkness to engulf Taryk would be an action; and then attacking would be another action. That's three, but you only get two. OOC: If you didn't have to move, you could expand the darkness and attack in the same round ... so maybe next round, after you've closed the distance.

The bleeding goblin in front of Drakor takes a swing with his marred cudgel, attempting to bash-in Drakor's face.
- Drakor, give me a defense roll, please. TN 7. If you roll a 6 or less, you suffer 2 points of damage (4 from the cudgel - 2 from your armor = 2). If you roll a 7 or higher, though, your riposte advantage allows you to spend 1 AP in order to make another attack (which will actually require two attack rolls, since you dual wield).
The remaining two goblins draw their weapons (one axe, one mace) and charge into the fray; one of them closes ranks with Drakor (who now has two goblins on him), while the other rushes up to Taryk, ready to fight.
