O.o.C.: Dammit, my range is only 527 squares! Laughing Oh, for Verity, I looked up Wyvernscale= +9 AC. Seriously, with Javelin its 20. I don't know the max range of the mounted repeater.

The wagon rolls forward; it's occupants ready for battle. When the Feygiants realize you aren't going to run, they start moving directly toward the wagon (One of the Fomorians leads the rush, the four Cyclopses running alongside him. The other Fomorian brings up the rear, taking cover behind his one-eyed slaves). They are moving fast, but defensively.

After a few minutes, Davin stops the wagon and jumps down. He takes aim.

OOC: You are now roughly 40 squares from the lead Fomorian and the Clopses. They will speed up now, and rush forward 20 squares; but they too have ranged attacks! So, I need initiative. Davin will get one round of attacks before they enemy is gets close enough to attack. The repeater can attack in round 1 only if it's initiave is after theirs (you could hold or ready to ensure this). Going into Round 2, they will be 20 squares away ... so, they'll be able to attack (depending on initiative, they may even attack before you guys).

Their Initiative is as follows:

Cyclops B: 17
Cyclops C: 16
Cyclops D: 16
Rear Fomorian: 13

Well treat any square that is entirely blue as difficult. If there is any sand at all, it's normal terrain.
Alternately, you may try to jump over such squares -- see page 182-183 on the PHB.

(The FeyGiants have been hopping over the deeper more troublesome spots of water)

Straegis rests his javelin next to him and takes up a position on the repeater, ready to attack the lead Fomorian as soon as he is 30 sq. away. He will continue to fire the repeater until the Fomorian is 10 sq. away then grab the javelin and heave it at him. If there is more than one enemy within range when he hits (with the javelin), Straegis will shout "Fulmenium!" and watch as the lighting strikes multiple targets.

Attack(repeater): 1d20=12+(?)=?
Damage: ???

Attack(javelin): 1d20=10+16=26
Damage: 1d6=3+9=12

O.o.C.: Probably got too much info here but I don't know exactly how this will work out. If the javelin attack hits and the lightning goes off EACH enemy within 2 sq. of the hit takes 1d6 lightning damage. I also didn't know how many rolls, the mods or the damage for the repeater, so the first attack roll is for that, the next set of rolls are for the javelin (minus any lightning damage if applicable). Edit/amend if necessary.

DM EDIT: Ok. I'll take care of the Repeater rolls as the rounds unfold

Delay to last ally initiative
Standard: Good Omens – During round 2 allies d20 rolls are +5 but cannot score crits
Move: forward 6
Minor: release lantern, draw sword
Free: Call to allies, "Strike hard, Death guides your hand!", by way of explaining Good Omens.

Round 2

Move: if necessary to shift tactically for:
Minor: Call of Challenge (close burst 3), Formorian and 2 nearest Cyclops are challenged until the end of Verity’s next turn
Standard: Prophecy of Doom, Ally can choose to make their next hit on the Formorian a Crit

Don't forget everyone is +5 to all d20 rolls during round 2 but cannot crit (Good Omens). Might be a good time for some folks to use an Area Attack or an Action Point for the extra +5s to hit.

Davin is the first to fire, firing two precision bolts into the lead Fomorian; both sink deep, but the Feygiant shows no sign of slowing down.

The lead Fomorian bounds forward, despite the Elfprince's arrows, and maintains his defensive posture.

Straegis is ready and fires with the repeater!

Verity Delays.

The quickest of the Cyclopses runs along side his cruel taskmaster; his eye glowering at the Woodelf near the front of the wagon. Finally, he chucks a heavy speasr at his foe; a spear that soars through the opening of the covered wagon, and catches Aubrey in the sternum.

Hound moves alongside (but slightly ahead of) Verity, stalking out his eventual prey.

Immobile, the lead glares at Verity with his wickedly deformed eyes, and Verity feels the power of the Feywild upon his inner being. The Fomorian swings his ridiculously huge Mace, and hit's Verity.

When forced to make a judgement call, I normally assume characters are either continuing with their stated actions or doing whatever they normally do. In this case, I assume Vangg would help Aubrey, seeing as how usually heals whoever is hurt?

Vangg uses one of the Sash's charges to heal Aubrey.
Aubrey regains 21 HPs and is at full health.

Alex attempts to Freeze the two on the left now.

Hearing Verity's words and sensing his brother's dangerous situation (ie. seeing the AutoCrit that is waiting for his Helpless Brethren), the rear Fomorian attempts to crush the puny Dog.

I added Davin's extra Acid damage, but then the Fomorian made both saves. Still, it's an extra 10 damage.
Plus another extra 30 from Combined Fire. Addendum addened.


Round 3 - R&R

Taking advantage of a doomful prediction, Davin again fires at the lead Fomorian, who finally begins to show the pain he is feeling.
Lead Fomorian is Bloodied.

Init 32
The lead Fomorian his assualt on Verity.
Evil Eye: 30 vs Will. Verity is Immobile (Save Ends).
Reach 3 Mace: 37 vs AC; 38 Damage.

Hopping down from the wagon, Vangg becomes a beacon of hope and heals his companion, Verity. Then, in a burst of action, he glows with radiant solar wrath which sears the cyclopses and the closest Fomorian alike.

Note: He catches all allies except Hound with the Beacon of Hope (11 HPs). Verity is also healed by Healing Word (so, 3d6+1d6+11 more ... thats 3d6+1d6+22 total). ... Also Note: You cannot delay part of your round; it's all or nothing. Plus, Verity is Immobile. So, since Vangg didn't use his Move, I figured you'd want to move him to where he was in range of Verity?

Hechling the enemy, Verity frees himself from the effects of the Evil Eye ... and then charges forward, slashingly madly at the frozen, helpless Fomorian.

The lead Fomorian glowers ... and swings!
Evil Eye: CRIT vs Verity's Will; Verity is again Immobile (Save Ends).
Skullcracker: Botch vs Verity's AC; Miss.

Hound nips at the Fomorian's heels, aiding Davin's assault.

Vangg consecrates the ground in front of him before saying a healing word for Alex, and then concentrates to move the consecration toward the enemy.

Alex smiles and creates a cage of watery static lightning. The cage springs up around three of enemies, but somehow ... suprisingly ... they all dodge the cage! Although they've avoided being singed, they are still caught within the aquamancer's trap.

The cyclops to the left of the Fomorian get struck by risidual lightning from Alex's cage. Moving out of the cage, he throws a spear at the troublesome Wizard.

Davin fires twice, sinking two brutal arrows into the lead Fomorian!
Used Elven Accuracy and Wild Elf Luck. Applied extra damage.

The other cyclops caught in the cage gets zapped, too.
He then backs out of harm's way, and begins making his way up the beach.
Cyclops save vs Slow: 14 (Success). He is no longer slowed.

The Cyclops on the far right moves to Verity's rear and takes a swing.
Cyclops suffers Ongoing 14 Radiant damage.
42 vs Verity's AC; 16 Damage.
Cyclops save vs Slow: 16(Success). He is no longer slowed.
Save vs Ongoing Radiant: 5 (Fail)

Aubrey tries again with his windborne Lightining! He sends a current dancing upon the wind, until it reaches the three foes around Verity! But the heaevy giants are just too nimble for his inexperienced spellcasting.

Standard: Crown of Glory 36 v Formorian, 27 and 23 v Cyclopses to hit Will, 38 dmg to Fomorian (includes Hunting Party) and 18 damage to the cyclops. Additionally all 3 targets are slowed.
