Advantages
Extra Attack - The character has mastered a number of rapid attack combinations. The character can use both of her/his actions in the same round to attack, making one attack with each action. Both of the actions are limited to a single attack, even if the character has other abilities that allow for multiple attacks (i.e. this ability cannot be combined with the dual wield advantage or with similar advantages). This ability can only be used with weapon attacks and unarmed attacks; magical attacks have their own advantages.

Quick Reflexes - This advantage allows the character to react more quickly when faced with danger or other suddenness. She/he gains a +1 bonus on all initiative rolls and defense rolls.

Ranger - The character has practiced combat at extreme distances, including long and point-blank ranges. The character never suffers a “range penalty” when attacking with a ranged weapon. This applies to maximum range and point-blank range.

Surprise-attack - The character is a hunter or assassin and knows how to strike unsuspecting targets most effectively. New Equipment

The bow itself is both lightweight and sturdy, clearly the work of a master bowyer. Delicate carvings runs the length of the stave, indicative of the bow's elvish origins. No expense was spared on the bowstring, either, as it is both reverse-twisted and served. It is clearly a masterpiece.

- OOC: The bow is non-magical, but it is a "superior" bow. That means it deals 6 points of damage (instead of 5).

The quiver is even more impressive. The leather body of the quiver is adorned with delicate leatherwork that matches the engraved patterns on the bow, but these patterns have also been etched with strange runes. Obviously, it too was crafted by an Elven master. Merely handling it fills Merrill with a sense of power.

At a glance, the arrow appears to be a typical elf-styled arrow; nothing special. The feathers of some colorful and exotic bird were used for the fletchings; the shaft consists of laminated cedar,, footed with mithril; the arrow head ... as Merrill removes the lone arrow from the quiver, the rune-shaped head of the arrow begins to glow faintly. After a brief moment of admiration, the arrow vanishes and a new one appears inside the quiver!

- OOC: The magical arrow adds an additional 2 points to the bow's damage. Furthermore, the arrow vanishes after it has been fired, allowing the quiver to magically produce another one!
