Alex casts his usual watery magic, but the half-Orc seems unusually resistant to it's deleterious effects.

OOC: The L7 Orc was killed by the arc lightning, so I applied this round's attack elsewhere ...
Davin fire two arrows at the Bloodrager.

Verity staggers to his feet, and summons the power of the Queen to smite his enraged foe! The power of his blade fills his allies with righteousness! The bloodrager tries to strike him back, but can't match the power of the templar's smite.
BR: 16 vs Verity's AC: Miss.

Everyone (except Davin) gets 7 temp Hps. Remember, temp HPs don't stack; so use the higher total if you have some already, don't add them together. (Verity, if Hound is getting 7 from RS, he can't get 7 more for AR ... you should save the sword power for later.

Init 19
The last Orc bursts into holy flames (from the CG).
Mordax can spend a healing surge, and gains an extra +10 HPs from it

Leaping down from the wall, Hound bites into his quarries leg, opening a deep wound and yanking the half-Orc off his feet.

Init 18
Burning with consecrating energy, the bloodrager takes a swing at Verity, and even though he misses, the monster seems invigorated by the attack.
The BR is no longer bloodied.

Init 14
Again, Juugug Rinh calls upon the power of da Queen, and sends a spear of holy light into the half-Orc.
LoF: 28 vs Ref: 6 damage. Mordax is +2 to hit on his next attack.

Init 7
Kersh slams his flail into the bloodrager yet again, and the slides over to give Straegis some room.
27 vs BR's AC: 16 damage and BT is knocked Prone.

"Send dem ta da dep's o' Hells!"
Vangg steps to a better position, and heals EVERYBODY with a holy word.
Everyone heals HPs "as if" a surge was spent, plus 13 more.
Also, has everyone remembered to heal 14 every time they start their turn in the CG?


Only now does Azzie realize how hard it is to load a crossbow with one hand.
Yet, somehow, he gets the job done.

Init 6
Mordax stands and growls "Lang live tha' Emperor! Death tae' oor enemies! Bow tae' tha' Imperial Seal, ye' gits! Surrender or perish!" Slamming his hammer into the ground, he sends shockwaves against all his foes!
It missed the BR, but hit the HO and the Worg.
The other two Orcs in range were already dead

OOC: Note: Only one damage roll is needed. Rolling multiple attack rolls was right on; but only one damage roll is needed.
Also, Intimidate is a standard action.


Straegis jumps down and attacks the prone Half-Orc.

OOC: Coup de Grace can only be done to a helpless target; not to one who is merely prone. Besides, that Orc was already dead. So, I moved Straegis to attack the prone Bloodrager. Unfortunately, I had to roll your damage; since it wasn't an actual Coup de Grace, it wasn't an auto-Crit. I also applied the item's daily power to make up for your lack of crit dice.

... 38 damage (d8+9 +2d8 HQ + 3d6 vs prone). The BR is Bloodied again.

He then shifts to give Hound room to get in.

The Half-Orc whistles, which apparently signaling a retreat. The Worg shifts back, and allows the last of the crossbow crew to mount him, and then it bounds off at full speed.

The Half-Orc staggers to his feet, bleeding from the mouth and ears, as well as from several gashes along his chorded frame. He pulls a small white egg-like object from his pouch, and smashes it into the ground; a cloud of rainbow colored smoke engulfs him ... and he is gone.

The Bloodrager yells "NOOO! Now, ye shall all die by MY hand!!"

Verity steps into position and hacks away at the howling bloodrager.
Feebly, the Ork tries to strike him back.

Hound bolts into the shadows, determined to bring down his prey by sent alone. Running up the Worg's flank Hound drags the rider to the floor. Then, he digs his sharp canines into the Worg's throat, and tears it out.

O.O.C.: Four or five handaxes if possible. Oh and for the record, this is why i continued to attack the "dead" guy...

Verity thinks he follows Vangg's meaning. Actually, he does not.

"Good job helping with the crossbow Azzy.
"Somebody check the chest in the side room and these wretched orcs for anything useful.
"Kersh, come help me barricade this door before that raider comes back with reinforcements.”

Verity blocks the un-blocked door, presumably with Kersh’s help. He gathers up his thrown hammers. He’ll give the disguises a cursory check before the group sets out.

DM EDIT: That's seems like a lot to do one round.
Can you break it down into standard, move, and minor actions for me?

Straegis moves quickly toward his allies ready to heave one of the orcs handaxes back at him. He stops suddenly in his tracks when he hears the blast of the horn, "That can't be good." he says as the axe leaves his hand.

As the group leaves, Verity hefts the wooden chest into his bag of holding for later inspection.

When the group gets to a reasonably safe spot to pause momentarily,

Verity will replace the sweat-streaked ash used to disguise Straegis, Vangg and Davin.
While he works he remarks, "When all this is done I'm going to open up a horn shop for orcs. I'll be rolling in gold, they're absolutely mad for the things. Probably what all the boxes are from."
